Camping & Lodging
GrassStock is happy to announce that on-site camping is free. Terrapin Hill Farm also provides a "quiet" camping area. Be sure to request this upon arrival at the gate so you will be directed to the proper area. You will be camping by your vehicle, so for safety's sake please keep driving lanes clear.
All camping is primitive with no electric or water hook-ups but RV's,
buses and campers are welcome. Port-o-lets and hand washing
stations are provided.
Hot showers and sinks with hot/cold running water are located in the
showerhouse. Please clean up after yourselves. Spigots with
drinkable water are also located in the vending area near the
showerhouse and behind the general store next to the garden fence.
Beware of poison ivy, especially in the woods. It's part of
nature and not much we can do about it. We suggest using the
porta-potties, not the woods, sit on blankets or chairs and wear shoes.
You may bring coolers to the festival. Mercer County is a dry
county and sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Please do not
bring glass; if you see broken glass, clean it up.
No drugs, please. Keep in mind that our friendly local officials
often set up road blocks. Be smart; arrive early and stay to the
end; don't drink and drive.
No swimming or fishing on the farm.
The farm will be in full vegetable production during the
festival. Please be respectful and stay out of all garden areas.
There is no entry from adjoining properties, this is trespassing and
will be dealt with accordingly!
A note on dogs:
We would like to encourage you to leave your dogs at home.
We love them too, but festivals are not always as much fun for the dogs
as they are for us. If you must bering them, a fee per dog will
be collected at the gate. Please remember that they must be
leashed, with the leash attached to something, at all times. Dogs will not
be allowed in the stage or vending areas. Also, don't forget to
give them shade, water and attention!
A note on campfires:
Personal campfires are allowed, but remember that Terrapin Hill Farm is
a working farm and the campground is a hayfield. Please clean up
your fire before you leave (as well as the rest of your
campsite). Unburnt logs can destroy farm equipment and trash can
ruin the hay crop. Do not cut live trees-they don't burn. A
better idea is to share a fire with your neighbors. Management retains
the right to prohibit fires if drought conditions are in effect.
Notice will be posted at the gate. Thank you for your
co-operation!
